What a course actually is

A full year, sequenced. Grade 9 biology runs 11 units and 98 skills, from molecules and enzymes up through cells, energy, genetics, origins and ecology to the human body, ending with a capstone where your child picks a real biological case and defends an argument about it out loud. Units build on each other, so the order is the curriculum rather than a table of contents.

There is a teacher in it

Clara sits inside every lesson. She introduces the idea, asks the questions, and when an answer is wrong she explains the specific mistake in it. A child who answers 136 to 304 minus 178 is told which column went wrong and walked through that column, not marked incorrect and moved along. From the parent side you can open any lesson and read the whole conversation in the order it happened.

Christian, six-day creation, and yours to choose

A Bible course runs every year, kindergarten through twelfth grade, from the King James text. Where Christians genuinely differ, baptism, communion, end times, church government, the material names the positions rather than picking one for your family. On origins it takes Genesis at its word: six-day creation and a young earth, taught in Creation units inside the science courses. At signup you choose whether evolution is taught alongside creation, as what mainstream science says, and whether sex education is included and how far it goes. You can change both any time, and a lesson you turn off is never shown to your child. Science stays aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards for everything else. You can verify all of that by reading the courses rather than believing this paragraph.

Units are not weeks

Practice is scored on whether the skill is learned. Lessons are grouped into units rather than labelled with week numbers, so there is no schedule to fall behind and a child who needs eleven days on one idea has not failed anything.
