Grade 12 math, unit by unit
Is there a Christian homeschool precalculus curriculum?
Free for 30 days. No card.
Every course in every grade, for every child in the family. Lessons pause when the free days end unless you choose to subscribe.
Start 30 days freeYes. Precalculus: Functions, Trigonometry, and Mathematical Modeling is a grade 12 course of eight units and 63+ hours that welds Algebra II functions and Geometry trig into one toolkit.
The eight units
Functions as a Family of Structures. Polynomial and Rational Functions. Exponential and Logarithmic Functions. The Unit Circle and Trigonometric Functions. Trigonometric Identities and Equations. Vectors and Matrices. Polar Coordinates and Parametric Equations. Conics and an Introduction to Limits.
Which function fits
Instead of learning each chapter as a separate world, a student asks: given this data or this real situation, which kind of function actually fits, and how would I prove it?
What it adds
Unit circle trigonometry so sine and cosine work for any angle, vectors and matrices for quantities with more than one part, and polar and parametric ways to describe curves.
A taste of calculus
It finishes with conic sections and a first look at limits, the ideas a calculus class opens with.
What this is not
- It is one course among many. You decide which to take, which to hold back and how many to do in a day.
- It is precalculus, not calculus. There is no calculus course in the catalog.
- It cannot promise any college will accept a homeschool transcript. It prints one of what was taught and mastered, and your family issues it.

Questions parents ask
Is there a calculus course?
No. Precalculus is the highest math course, and Statistics and Data Science is the other grade 12 option.
Does it count toward a high school transcript?
Hours log themselves and a transcript of what was taught and mastered prints in one click. There is also a free transcript maker at /homeschool-transcript that needs no account.
What does it cost?
$29 a month or $290 a year for every child. The first 30 days are free with no card.
