Start 30 days freeYes. Letters & Devotion is a Christian K-12 homeschool curriculum that logs your child's hours for every course as they work, works out the grade from what they have mastered instead of what you assign, and prints a transcript in one click. You do not keep a log by hand, and you do not have to build the transcript from memory in twelfth grade.
What gets recorded
Hours are logged per course against the usual 120 to 180 hour credit convention. Grades come from mastery, so the transcript shows what a child actually learned and not a number a parent picked. The lesson history stays on the record, which is what a state reporting form or a receiving school asks to see.
A free transcript maker, whatever curriculum you use
If you use something else, the transcript maker at /homeschool-transcript is free with no account. Enter courses by year, credits and grades, and it produces a PDF with the GPA and course descriptions. You do not need to be a customer to use it.
Who issues it
The family. In most states the homeschool is the school, so the parent issues the transcript, and the curriculum supplies the hours, the mastery-based grades and the course descriptions that make it believable.
Try it before you pay
The first 30 days are free with no card, and the whole curriculum is readable in full without an account, so you can check the course descriptions a transcript would carry.
What this is not
- It is not accredited and does not issue a diploma. In most states your homeschool is the school, and the transcript is issued by you.
- It cannot promise any college will accept a homeschool transcript. It gives you the documentation admissions offices ask for.
- Check your own state's reporting rules. Requirements differ, and the site has a page for each state.

Questions parents ask
Does any homeschool curriculum track hours automatically?
Yes. Letters & Devotion logs hours per course as your child works and prints them with the transcript.
Is there a free homeschool transcript maker?
Yes. The transcript maker at lettersanddevotion.com/homeschool-transcript is free, needs no account, and produces a PDF with courses by year, credits, GPA and course descriptions.
Are the grades assigned by the parent?
No. Grades are derived from mastery of the skills in each course, which is the honest answer to the objection that the parent gave the grades.
Is the curriculum accredited?
No. Accreditation applies to schools, and in most states the homeschool is the school. Documentation is what the transcript and hours report are for.
