Start 30 days freeSome children arrive in your home in October, in March, or on a Tuesday, with a school history you may only half know. Letters & Devotion lets you add a child at any point in the year, find where they really are in each subject, and begin there without a schedule that was written before they came.
Add a child anytime
There is no school year to enroll in. Add the child, choose a grade, and the lessons are ready the same day.
Start where the child is
The placement tool checks reading and math and suggests a starting point per subject. It is not a score, and a child can work at different levels in different subjects.
Patient, untimed practice
Nothing is timed, and practice slows down when a child struggles. A child who has missed years of school is not racing anyone.
A safe sign-in, and you can see everything
A child signs in with a password you made for them. You can read every conversation they have with Clara, kept for 30 days, and see the work on the parent dashboard.
Hours and records you can show
The hours a child works are logged, and you can add offline hours yourself. The transcript page holds them so your family has them when someone asks.
What this is not
- It is not trauma care, therapy or counseling. A child who has been through a lot needs people, and this is a curriculum.
- It knows nothing about your agency's rules. Ask your caseworker or agency what records and approvals they need, and use the logged hours and work as the record you keep.
- It is not a diagnosis tool. You choose supports, never a condition, and no diagnosis is stored.

Questions parents ask
Can I add a child in the middle of the year?
Yes. Add them from the parent area at any time, pick a grade, and find their starting point. They begin on the next lesson with no catch-up.
What if I do not know what grade they are really on?
Use the starting point tool for reading and math, then adjust per subject. You can adjust where each course begins.
What if our situation changes?
You can cancel in one click, and everything a child did stays saved. Nothing in the lessons depends on a calendar, so there is no deadline to plan around.
What does it cost?
$29 a month or $290 a year for every child. The first 30 days are free and need no card.
