Start 30 days freeYes, there is a Christian homeschool science curriculum that follows the Next Generation Science Standards and also teaches creation: Letters & Devotion has eleven science courses from kindergarten through twelfth grade, and its Creation units teach six-day creation and a young earth. That is a young earth position, taught as the curriculum's own, and each family chooses at signup whether evolution is also shown, as what mainstream science says.
Kindergarten to grade 8
Science Explorations: Kindergarten to Grade 2 (4 units) is one course for those three years. Then come Investigating Our World: Forces, Life, and Earth Systems (grade 3, 9 units), Energy, Waves, and Living Systems (grade 4, 9 units) and Matter, Systems, and the Sky (grade 5, 8 units). Middle school has Earth and Space Systems: Patterns, Processes, and Change (grade 6, 9 units), Life Science: Systems, Energy, and Change (grade 7, 9 units) and Physical Science: Matter, Energy, and Interactions (grade 8, 8 units).
High school
Biology: Systems, Structure, and Change (grade 9) has 12 units, the longest science course. Chemistry in the Kitchen and Beyond: Matter, Energy, and Change (grade 10) and Algebra-Based Physics: Modeling Matter, Motion, and Energy (grade 11) have 8 units each. Environmental Science: Systems, Evidence, and Choices (grade 12) has 9.
Where creation is taught
Six-day creation, a young earth, created kinds, a worldwide flood and design in living things are taught from Genesis forward in Creation units inside the science courses for grades 3, 4, 6, 7, 9 and 12. The King James Bible courses, starting with Genesis in kindergarten, hold the same plain reading.
The evolution choice
At signup you pick "Creation" or "Creation, with evolution taught alongside". With the first, the evolution and deep-time lessons are never shown to your child. With the second, Life Science 7 and Biology 9 teach them next to the Creation units, accurately, as what mainstream science says and why, and Clara follows your choice.
NGSS for everything else
Outside the Creation units, science follows the Next Generation Science Standards. Every science course is readable in full with no account, and the scope and sequence page at /scope-and-sequence lists every unit in teaching order. Science runs roughly 30 to 50 minutes a day on screen.
What this is not
- It is a young earth curriculum. It does not teach an old earth as its own position, though the courses say, fairly, that other faithful Christians read Genesis 1 differently.
- The Creation units are in the science courses for grades 3, 4, 6, 7, 9 and 12, not in every science course. They are new in October 2026, so read them in full before you decide.
- Kindergarten to grade 2 share one science course, so there is no separate grade 1 or grade 2 science. High school has Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Environmental Science, with no separate Earth science or anatomy course, and the physics is algebra-based.

Yes. Letters & Devotion science follows the Next Generation Science Standards, with six-day creation taught in Creation units inside the science courses.

Only if you choose it at signup. "Creation" never shows those lessons. "Creation, with evolution taught alongside" teaches them in Life Science 7 and Biology 9 as what mainstream science says.
What high school science courses are there?
Biology (12 units), Chemistry in the Kitchen and Beyond, Algebra-Based Physics and Environmental Science.
How old does this science curriculum say the earth is?
Young. It teaches six-day creation and a young earth in the Creation units, and evolution is shown only if the family chooses it.
