Where can I find free printable Bible lessons for homeschool kids, for every grade?
Free for 30 days. No card.
Every course in every grade, for every child in the family. Lessons pause when the free days end unless you choose to subscribe.
Start 30 days freeLetters & Devotion has a free printable Bible unit for every grade from kindergarten through twelfth, thirteen in all, each a 30-page PDF of eight lessons from that grade's King James Bible course. Unit 1 needs no email and no account. Unit 2 of each course is free too, and arrives by email a week later if you ask for it.
Kindergarten through grade 2
Kindergarten is In the Beginning, the opening chapters of Genesis from creation to the flood. Grade 1 is Moses, from the baby in the basket to "Let my people go". Grade 2 is When Judges Ruled, the book of Judges and the start of Ruth, with Deborah, Gideon and Samson along the way.
Grades 3 through 5
Grade 3 is The Law, Genesis and Exodus from creation to Sinai. Grade 4 is Who Jesus Is, the life of Jesus in order from before the manger to the calling of the first disciples. Grade 5 is Letters to Churches, Paul's letters to Rome, Corinth, Galatia and Ephesus read as real letters to real churches.
Grades 6 through 8
Grade 6 is What Kind of Book Is This, eight lessons on the kinds of writing in Scripture: narrative, law, poetry, wisdom, prophecy, gospel and letters. Grade 7 is The Church Spreads, the opening chapters of Acts from Pentecost to Stephen. Grade 8 is Promise and Fulfillment, how the first Christians read their Bible.
Grades 9 through 12, and what is inside every unit
Grade 9 is The Old Testament Books, Grade 10 is The Early Church and the Councils, Grade 11 is What a Worldview Is, and Grade 12 is How to Decide, a method for Christian ethics. In the Grade 1, 6 and 9 units each lesson has a short script for the parent to read aloud, a page to read together and a practice sheet on its own page so you can copy it, with a unit check-up and the answers at the back. You may print them and share them, as long as each unit stays whole.
Unit 2, and the rest of the year
Each free unit is the first of four in a full Bible course of 36 lessons. On a unit's page you can ask for Unit 2, for example A Family God Chose in kindergarten or Out and Free in Grade 1, and it is emailed a week later. All thirteen Bible courses are published in full on the Bible curriculum page, and the first 30 days of the whole curriculum are free with no card.
What this is not
- It is not a whole printed year. The free printables are the first two units of each course, not the 36 lessons.
- Unit 2 is not instant. It is sent by email a week after you ask.
- It is King James only, and Bible only. Each unit is one course from a larger curriculum, and the curriculum is not accredited.
