Start 30 days freeYes. Physical education in Letters & Devotion happens off-screen: each week is a written plan of what to go and do, and you log the minutes. There are courses for grades 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12, and a second year, Physical Education II, for grades 10-12.
Grades 3-5, 45+ hours
Moving Every Which Way. Throw, Catch and Aim. Games from the Playground. Playing Together. Three short play sessions a week: games, not workouts.
Grades 6-8, 72+ hours
Move Well, Build the Engine. Strong Without a Gym. Sport Sampler. Your Fitness, Your Plan. Four half-hour sessions a week from a plan the student mostly runs.
Grades 9-12, 90+ hours
Building a Base. Strength, Core and Indoor Fitness. Skills, Games and Speed. Lifetime Fitness. Five sessions of about 30 minutes, with fitness check-ins that put numbers on a transcript.
Year two, grades 10-12
Physical Education II: Training, Sport and Self-Coaching asks a child to follow a plan that gets harder on purpose, then write one.
What this is not
- It is one course among many. You decide which to take, which to hold back and how many to do in a day.
- Nothing is taught through a screen, and there are no quizzes.
- It does not replace sports your family already plays. Minutes you log count.

Questions parents ask
Who logs the minutes?
You do, as you already do for year one. Nothing happens on the screen.
Can I change the grade?
Yes. You set the grade for each course and can change it at any time, so a child can take a course above or below their age.
What does it cost?
$29 a month or $290 a year for every child. The first 30 days are free with no card.
