"Christian curriculum" carries an assumption in this market: that the publisher has decided for you what your child will and will not hear about origins and about sex. This one takes the Bible at its word, six-day creation and a young earth, and then hands the rest of the decision to you. Here is exactly what this curriculum is: what it teaches about the Bible, what it holds about where the earth and life came from, what you choose, and where it lands on questions that divide Christians rather than uniting them.

A Bible course every year, kindergarten through twelfth grade

Every grade level, K through 12, carries a full 36-week Bible course, King James Version only. It is not an elective offered in a few grades or a devotional that quietly disappears after third grade. A child who starts here in kindergarten and finishes in twelfth grade has studied Scripture every single year in between.

Six-day creation, taught as Genesis says

This curriculum takes the Bible at its word: God made the world in six days, Adam and Eve were real, the earth is young, and there was a worldwide flood. Every science course that touches origins carries a Creation unit written from that position, with fossils, rocks, created kinds and the limits of natural selection taught from Genesis forward. Where a lesson reports what most scientists say about long ages, it says so plainly as their account, and the courses say fairly that other faithful Christians read Genesis 1 differently.

You choose whether evolution is taught alongside

At signup, beside the grade, you pick one of two: "Creation", where the lessons on evolution and deep time are never shown to your child, or "Creation, with evolution taught alongside", where the evolution units in Life Science 7 and Biology 9 are taught next to the Creation units as what mainstream science says and why. The teacher, Clara, follows your choice in every conversation, and you can change it any time from your account.

You choose how far sex education goes

None, body changes and puberty only, or puberty plus what the Bible teaches about marriage, purity and abstinence. Those are the three settings, chosen at signup and changeable any time. At no setting is anything taught about sexual activity or contraception, and Clara sends every question outside your setting back to you.

Nondenominational, including on the questions that actually divide Christians

Baptism, communion, the end times, church government, predestination, spiritual gifts: sincere Christians land in real different places on each of these, and this curriculum names the positions rather than picking one for your family. Where Scripture is read the same way across traditions, it is taught as settled. Where it is not, the course tells your child what the different views are and leaves the conclusion to you and your church.

What this is not

It does not teach evolution unless you turn it on. If you want evolution taught as settled fact with no creation teaching at all, this is not that curriculum: creation is taught to every child, and evolution is taught alongside it only when a family chooses.
It does not pick a side on baptism, communion, the end times, church government, predestination or spiritual gifts. If your family or your church holds a specific position on any of those, you will still teach it directly; the course names the options rather than choosing for you.
It is not accredited and does not issue a diploma. It prints a transcript of what was taught and mastered.
It is not a classical, Charlotte Mason, unschooling or literature-based curriculum. It is a standards-aligned sequence with a teacher built in, and if you want one of those philosophies specifically, this is not it.

We collect only what it takes to teach your child: the first name and sign-in you choose, their answers and progress, and their chat with Clara (written by Anthropic's AI, read aloud by OpenAI). Nobody trains AI on it or sells it, and you can see or delete it any time. You create your child's account yourself. Ticking the box below is how you, as the parent, give consent.

Your consent is needed before we collect anything from your child, and we collect nothing without it. You create your child's account yourself; they never sign up alone.

What we collect from your child: the first name and sign-in you choose, their answers, time on lessons and progress, and their chat with Clara. Used to run the lessons, build their transcript and show you how they are doing.
Who else handles it: Anthropic writes Clara's replies from the chat, the lesson and your child's first name. OpenAI turns lesson text and Clara's replies into the read-aloud voice. Spoken answers are turned into text on our own server and never sent anywhere. Our email provider sends you reports. Nobody sells your child's data or uses it for anything else.
Your rights: see everything collected from your child, have it deleted, or stop further collection at any time, from your account or by emailing our support address. If you refuse the sharing above, Clara cannot teach, so the service cannot run. Chats are deleted after 30 days.
Safety: if your child writes something suggesting they may be hurt or in danger, we email you and the owner of Letters & Devotion the same day.

Is Letters & Devotion a Christian curriculum?

Yes. Every grade, K through 12, includes a full Bible course, and the curriculum is built for Christian families throughout, not only in a Bible elective. Every course is readable in full with no account and no card, so you can verify that before paying anything.

Does it teach evolution?

Only if you choose it. The curriculum teaches six-day creation and a young earth to every child. At signup you choose "Creation" or "Creation, with evolution taught alongside". With the second, the evolution units in Life Science 7 and Biology 9 are taught next to the Creation units as what mainstream science says; with the first, your child never sees them.
