What Letters & Devotion is

An adaptive learning platform for homeschooling families: full courses, practice and mastery tracking for your children, and record-keeping tools for you. It supports your homeschool, you remain the educator of record, and you're responsible for meeting your state's homeschool requirements. Our transcript and hours reports are tools to help you do that, not a legal determination that you have.

Accounts

One family subscription covers one household: the parent account and the child accounts that parent creates. You're responsible for the accounts you create, for keeping sign-ins private, and for your children's use of the service. Child accounts exist only under a parent account and are governed by our Privacy Policy.

Billing

  • One flat subscription per family, no per-child fees.
  • Intro offers (like a discounted first month) apply to the first billing period only; the standard price applies after.
  • Cancel anytime from the billing page; access continues through the period you've paid for.
  • Cancel anytime: you can cancel from your billing page in one click, no questions asked. Cancelling stops future charges at the end of the current billing period; payments already made are not refunded.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe under their terms.
  • No refund of a period already paid; see the Refund policy.

Course content

Courses, lessons, questions, and guides are licensed to your family for your own homeschooling while subscribed. Print what you need for your own records and teaching. Don't resell, redistribute, or republish the content.

Acceptable use

Don't break, probe, or overload the service; don't access other families' data; don't use the service to harass anyone. We can suspend accounts that do, and will refund unused time if we terminate an account without cause.

The honest limits

Letters & Devotion is provided as-is. We work hard on quality, every course ships with published scope & sequence you can inspect before paying, but we can't promise it's error-free or that it fits every learner. Our total liability for any claim is capped at what you've paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Who you are agreeing with

Letters & Devotion is operated by Professor C's Academy LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company based in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. These terms are an agreement between you and that company.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by email goes to the state or federal courts located in Rutherford County, Tennessee, and you and we each agree to that venue. Either of us may still bring a qualifying claim in small claims court, which for a subscription at this price is usually the sensible place for it.

Nothing here takes away a consumer protection that the law of your home state does not let you give up by agreement. Where those protections apply, they apply, and the rest of this section stands alongside them.

There is no arbitration clause in these terms, and no class-action waiver. If you have a problem, email professorcacademy@gmail.com and a person answers.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email parents before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Letters & Devotion after that is acceptance.
