Homeschooling on the road
A homeschool curriculum for families who travel
Free for 30 days. No card.
Every course in every grade, for every child in the family. Lessons pause when the free days end unless you choose to subscribe.
Start 30 days freeIf your classroom changes every week, you need a curriculum that is not tied to a desk or a shelf of books. Letters & Devotion runs in a browser on a phone, tablet or laptop, remembers where each child stopped, and logs their hours without you keeping a notebook. It does need an internet connection to teach and grade, and that matters on the road, so we will be straight about it below.
Nothing to pack
Every lesson, Bible course and quiz lives online, so there is no box of books to ship or leave behind. Each child signs in with a password you made for them, on whatever device is in the car.
You pick up where you left off
When a child opens the app after a week at a campground, it offers to pick up where they left off. Nothing is scheduled, so there is no pile of missed days to catch up on.
Slow days still count
Hours log on their own while a child is actually working in a lesson, and stop after five minutes of nothing. You can add offline time yourself, like a museum day or a long read in the back seat.
Bible at the table, not on a screen
Each Bible lesson is read aloud at the table, so the part of the day that matters most can happen at a picnic bench with no signal. The free printable Bible units are PDFs you can save to a device before you go.
One account, every child
Add each child once and the whole family works from one parent login. You can check each child's progress from your own phone, wherever you are parked.
What this is not
- There is no offline mode. Lessons, Clara and grading need a connection, and a dead zone means a dead lesson.
- It will not find you a signal. Plan the screen lessons for places you have one, and use the printable Bible units and library books for the rest.
- It is not accredited and issues no diploma. You issue the official transcript, and the hours it logs help you build it.

Questions parents ask
Can my kids do lessons without internet?
No. The app can be installed on a phone or tablet like any other, but it shows an offline notice instead of lessons, and grading needs a connection. Save the free printable Bible units to a device before you leave if you want something to read offline.
What do I need to run it while traveling?
A browser and a connection that can load a lesson page and play a short voice. A phone hotspot or campground wifi is usually enough for a single child at a time.
Do I lose progress if we skip a week?
No. Nothing in a lesson is timed or scheduled, and each child's work is saved. They open the app and pick up at the next lesson.
What does it cost?
$29 a month or $290 a year for every child, and the first 30 days are free with no card. You can cancel anytime.
