Science and social studies
Energy, Waves, and Living Systems covers energy, waves, light, sound, senses, structures in plants and animals, a unit called Made on Purpose, and resources and trade-offs. Regions of the United States covers geography tools, and the Northeast, the Southeast and more.
Health, art, music and PE
Health for Grades 3-5, Seeing and Making, Making Music and Physical Education are separate courses, and PE is off screen.
What this is not
- It is a lot of courses. You decide which to take, and you can set any course to a different grade.
- It is a screen-based curriculum apart from PE and the table portion of the Bible lesson.
- It is not a one-size year. Nine-year-olds differ, and you can set any course to a lower or higher grade than the rest.
