Start 30 days freeYes. Personal Finance: Decisions with Money is a course of five units and 34+ hours, about money decisions rather than money facts. Your child builds one household budget in week one and keeps adding to it all semester.
The five units
Income: What You Actually Have to Work With. Budgeting: Assigning Every Dollar a Job. Growth: How Money Changes Over Time. Credit and Risk: Borrowing and Insuring. The Household Plan: Integrating the Parts.
One household all semester
The household can be imaginary or real, your call. A paycheck becomes a budget, then savings that grow, then a credit card and some insurance, then a full plan where it all has to work together.
Reasoning, not guessing
By the end a student can look at a job offer, a savings goal, a credit card statement or an insurance decision and reason through it.
Your part
The app grades the calculations automatically. Your job is mostly reading what your child writes and asking but why.
What this is not
- It is one course among many. You decide which to take, which to hold back and how many to do in a day.
- It is not financial advice and does not recommend any product or investment.
- It cannot promise any college will accept a homeschool transcript. It prints one of what was taught and mastered, and your family issues it.
