Start 30 days freeLetters & Devotion is a nondenominational Christian K-12 homeschool curriculum that names the positions Christians hold on baptism, communion, the end times, church government, predestination and spiritual gifts rather than choosing one, but it does not claim to fit any named denomination, and it is not neutral on creation. It teaches six-day creation and a young earth as its own position.
Where it names the positions
On baptism, communion, the end times, church government, predestination and spiritual gifts, the courses lay out what sincere Christians hold and leave the choice with your family. Where Scripture is read the same way across traditions, it is taught as settled.
Where it does not stay neutral
Six-day creation and a young earth are the curriculum's own position, taught in Creation units inside the science courses for grades 3, 4, 6, 7, 9 and 12. The courses also say, fairly, that other faithful Christians read Genesis 1 differently. Every Bible course is the King James Version only.
What to check for your own church
Read the courses closest to your questions. Grade 9 is Bible: Survey and Christian Doctrine, grade 10 is Bible: Church History, Pentecost to the Present, grade 7 is Bible: Acts to Revelation, and the Early Church, and grade 11 is Bible: Worldview and Apologetics. Then read the Creation units in the science courses.
You can read all of it first
All 84 courses are readable in full with no account and no card. Since the first 30 days are also free without a card, a family can check it against its own church's statement of faith before paying anything.
Where your own teaching comes in
Each week opens with the Bible read at the table together. That is the place to add what your church teaches where the courses name several positions.
What this is not
- It does not claim to fit Baptist, Reformed, Pentecostal or any other named denomination. Whether it fits yours is for you to check by reading the courses.
- It is not neutral on creation. A family that holds an old earth view, or wants evolution taught as settled with no creation teaching, should not choose it.
- If your church holds a specific view on baptism, communion or the end times, you will teach that part yourself; the courses name the options. The translation is the King James Version only.

Questions parents ask
Is there a nondenominational Christian homeschool curriculum?
Yes. Letters & Devotion has a King James Bible course in every grade from kindergarten through twelfth and names the positions Christians hold where they genuinely differ, instead of choosing one for your family.
Is it Baptist, Reformed or Pentecostal?
It does not claim any denomination. Check the doctrine and church history courses yourself; they are readable in full with no account.
Does it take sides on baptism or predestination?
No. On baptism, communion, the end times, church government, predestination and spiritual gifts, the courses name the positions rather than picking one.
Is the creation teaching neutral?
No. Six-day creation and a young earth are taught as the curriculum's position. Whether evolution is also shown, as what mainstream science says, is your choice at signup.
