In Letters & Devotion an eleventh grader takes Bible: Worldview and Apologetics (84+ hours), Algebra II (56+ hours), Algebra-Based Physics (55+ hours), American Voices, American Arguments (58+ hours) and United States History: 1877 to the Present (50+ hours), plus Psychology, a creative writing workshop and Physical Education II. Hours and a transcript log themselves.

Bible: worldview and apologetics

Four units, 84+ hours: What a Worldview Is, The Hard Objections, The Case for Christ, and Other Worldviews, and How to Disagree.

Algebra II

Eight units: Quadratic Functions and Complex Numbers, Polynomial Functions, Rational Expressions, Radical Functions and Inverse Functions, Exponential and Logarithmic Functions, Trigonometric Functions, Sequences and Series, and Statistics. It follows the Common Core State Standards.

Algebra-based physics

Eight units: Kinematics, Forces and Newton's Laws, Momentum and Collisions, Work, Energy and Power, Waves, Light and Fields, Electricity and Circuits, and a capstone of Engineering Design Under Constraint, in line with the Next Generation Science Standards.

American literature and US history

American Voices has eight units, from Puritan rhetoric and the founding arguments through the unreliable narrator, rhetorical analysis, twentieth-century voices and contemporary poetry to an original research argument. United States History runs from the Gilded Age to the twenty-first century in seven units.

Psychology, creative writing and PE

Psychology: Mind, Brain, and Behavior has eight units, from research methods to mental health. Craft and Revision is a four-unit creative writing workshop. Physical Education II is a separate course.

What this is not

It cannot promise any college will accept a homeschool transcript. It prints one of what was taught and mastered, and your family issues it.
It has no course labeled AP or honors, and no language beyond Spanish II.
It is a lot of courses. You decide which to take, which to hold back and how many to do in a day.

We collect only what it takes to teach your child: the first name and sign-in you choose, their answers and progress, and their chat with Clara (written by Anthropic's AI, read aloud by OpenAI). Nobody trains AI on it or sells it, and you can see or delete it any time. You create your child's account yourself. Ticking the box below is how you, as the parent, give consent.

Read what we collect and why

Your consent is needed before we collect anything from your child, and we collect nothing without it. You create your child's account yourself; they never sign up alone.

What we collect from your child: the first name and sign-in you choose, their answers, time on lessons and progress, and their chat with Clara. Used to run the lessons, build their transcript and show you how they are doing.
Who else handles it: Anthropic writes Clara's replies from the chat, the lesson and your child's first name. OpenAI turns lesson text and Clara's replies into the read-aloud voice. Spoken answers are turned into text on our own server and never sent anywhere. Our email provider sends you reports. Nobody sells your child's data or uses it for anything else.
Your rights: see everything collected from your child, have it deleted, or stop further collection at any time, from your account or by emailing our support address. If you refuse the sharing above, Clara cannot teach, so the service cannot run. Chats are deleted after 30 days.
Safety: if your child writes something suggesting they may be hurt or in danger, we email you and the owner of Letters & Devotion the same day.
