Start 30 days freeA child who is often sick, or recovering from something long, cannot work to a calendar. Letters & Devotion has no calendar, so a week in bed costs nothing, and a good day can hold more than one lesson. Hours log only while a child is actually working, so the record stays honest either way.
A bad week costs nothing
Lessons are units, not weeks, and nothing is timed. When your child feels better, they open the app and it offers to pick up where they left off.
Short and gentle
Screen lessons run about 30 to 50 minutes per subject, and the Bible lesson is read aloud at the table. On a low-energy day, one short lesson or just the Bible reading is a real day of school.
Practice that eases off
Practice slows down when a child struggles and moves on when they have it. A child coming back after a rough stretch is not graded against a clock.
Supports you can switch on
A parent can choose supports like read-aloud, and change them whenever the day calls for it. You pick supports, never a condition.
An honest record
Time logs only while a child is active in a lesson, and stops after five minutes idle. You can add offline time yourself, like reading in bed, and keep the hours that matter.
What this is not
- It is not medical care and gives no medical advice. Your child's doctors decide what your child can handle.
- Supports change how lessons look and feel. They are not a substitute for an evaluation or an IEP.
- There is no offline mode. Lessons and grading need a connection, so a hospital stay without wifi is a break from the screen lessons.

Questions parents ask
What happens when my child misses weeks of lessons?
Nothing is lost and nothing has to be made up. Each child's place is saved, and the next lesson is waiting when they are ready.
Can lessons be shorter on a bad day?
Nothing is timed, so a child can do one lesson and stop. You choose how much counts as a day.
Can I read what my child did if I was not with them?
Yes. The parent dashboard shows progress, and you can read every conversation with Clara, kept for 30 days.
What does it cost?
$29 a month or $290 a year for every child. The first 30 days are free with no card, and you can cancel anytime.
