Letters & Devotion is a Christian K-12 homeschool curriculum whose mathematics and English follow the Common Core State Standards and whose science follows the Next Generation Science Standards, with a full King James Bible course in every grade. So a family that wants a Christian curriculum and also needs to show standards alignment does not have to pick one.

What follows which standard

Mathematics and English follow the Common Core State Standards. Science follows the Next Generation Science Standards. The Bible courses are the King James Version, kindergarten through twelfth grade.

Where the Christian position shows up

The curriculum teaches six-day creation and a young earth in Creation units inside the science courses. Each family chooses at signup whether evolution is taught alongside creation, as what mainstream science says, or never shown, and whether sex education is included.

See exactly what is covered

The scope and sequence page lists every course and every unit in teaching order on one printable page, and each course lists its skills and learning objectives, with no account needed.

Reporting to your state

Hours log per course and the transcript derives grades from mastery, which is what most state reporting and receiving schools ask for. The site has a page for each state's homeschool requirements.

What this is not

  • Alignment is not accreditation. The curriculum is not accredited and does not issue a diploma.
  • Aligned does not mean identical to a school's pacing. Every module is mastery paced, so a child moves at their own speed.
  • Check your state's requirements. They differ, and the site cannot promise any state or school will accept the records.

Before your child starts: what we collect and why

We collect only what it takes to teach your child: the first name and sign-in you choose, their answers and progress, and their chat with Clara (written by Anthropic's AI, read aloud by OpenAI). Nobody trains AI on it or sells it, and you can see or delete it any time. You create your child's account yourself. Ticking the box below is how you, as the parent, give consent.

Read what we collect and why

Your consent is needed before we collect anything from your child, and we collect nothing without it. You create your child's account yourself; they never sign up alone.

  • What we collect from your child: the first name and sign-in you choose, their answers, time on lessons and progress, and their chat with Clara. Used to run the lessons, build their transcript and show you how they are doing.
  • Who else handles it: Anthropic writes Clara's replies from the chat, the lesson and your child's first name. OpenAI turns lesson text and Clara's replies into the read-aloud voice. Spoken answers are turned into text on our own server and never sent anywhere. Our email provider sends you reports. Nobody sells your child's data or uses it for anything else.
  • Your rights: see everything collected from your child, have it deleted, or stop further collection at any time, from your account or by emailing our support address. If you refuse the sharing above, Clara cannot teach, so the service cannot run. Chats are deleted after 30 days.
  • Safety: if your child writes something suggesting they may be hurt or in danger, we email you and the owner of Letters & Devotion the same day.

Ticking the box below is how you, as the parent, give that consent. Full details, including how long we keep each thing: Privacy Policy (version 2026-10-09).

Free for 30 days. No card. When the free days end, lessons pause unless you choose to subscribe, $29 a month for every child in the family. Nothing is ever charged without a card.
