Getting started (notice)
a written notice of intent filed with the superintendent of the district where your child lives, including an educational plan showing you will teach the required subjects. The statute requires the superintendent to accept a notice that meets those requirements and not to request any additional information or assurances from you.
Required subjects
English, including reading, composition and writing, mathematics, science, and social studies, including history, geography, economics and government. The plan must be appropriate for your child's age and level of skill, as you determine it.
Records you must keep
none filed with the state beyond the notice and its plan.
Testing / evaluation
none required.
