Bible: Out of Egypt, a First Grade Year in Exodus and Joshua

Grade 1 · Christian · NGSS/CCSS-aligned

One long journey, told in order, across a school year. Egypt, the sea, the desert, the mountain, forty years of waiting, and into the land. Each week you read the passage aloud from the King James, tell it back in plain words, learn one short verse, ask three questions, and do one small thing. From week 11 you also add a drawing to a paper map of the journey that runs along a wall. Twenty minutes, three times a week, and nothing to mark.
